TrekManali – Koshla

Koshla-A very old village high up in the hills of Manali town. The trek winds up to this village from where you get incredible sights of Old Manali village across the River Beas. We trek a link of mountain streams as we head higher above the tree line. The trek goes through forests of Pine, Fir and deodar dodging a few apple orchards till it ends on a small, meadow where we have lunch and enjoy the panoramic views of the Kali Heini pass and its snow clad incline shining radiantly in the sun right across the valley. To the north you can observe the rocky snow slopes under the Rohtang Pass. Spend a relaxed day experiencing the loneliness and silence of the mountains before returning to Manali.

Trek duration: April - June / September to End October
