Build an expedition around the route that is open

Jeep or bike-friendly travel

Request a jeep safari or guided route plan. Jispa, the Shinkula corridor and Solang–Gulaba are alternative route ideas, not a promise to cover every destination in three days. Confirm vehicle type, driver/guide, fuel, permits and route suitability in the quote.

Alpine camp stay

Request two nights at a mountain-view or riverside alpine camp on the agreed route. Confirm operating dates, bedding, washrooms, heating arrangements where available and a lower-altitude stay alternative.

Instructed adventure

ATV quad biking plus climbing or rappelling can be requested where available. Confirm the activity venue, ride length, equipment, instructor arrangements and participant suitability; do not assume these operate at every high-altitude stop.

Local food & camp evenings

Request local Himachali dinners and breakfasts with the exact meal count confirmed. Lunch, road refreshments and campfire meals are included only when named in the quote. Outdoor fires depend on permission and weather.

A route-led three-day outline

  1. Day 1: meet the trip team, review the road plan and travel to the confirmed overnight stop.
  2. Day 2: follow the approved local excursion and available activity programme, with the overnight location agreed in advance.
  3. Day 3: breakfast and return travel, allowing time for road conditions.

High-altitude routes require a suitable pace, participant assessment and a contingency plan. Access, permits and weather must be checked for the actual dates. A three-day itinerary is not a guarantee of reaching a pass; the route may need to stay lower or the trip may need more time.

Tell the team your starting point, previous mountain-travel experience, vehicle preference and any fixed return deadline before requesting a proposal.
