Day 1: Manali to Jobra Drive & Hike to Chika

Drive from Manali up to Jobra. Start hiking through green pine and deodar woods to setup your first riverside camp at Chika.

Day 2: Trek from Chika to Balu Ka Gera

Climb across spectacular boulder zones and high alpine meadows. Arrive at the scenic brown bear hibernation valley of Balu Ka Gera.

Day 3: Crossing Hampta Pass to Shea Goru

Start early to negotiate the steep mountain slopes up to the majestic Hampta Pass (14,100 ft). Move quickly downhill into the cold desert zone of Shea Goru.

Day 4: Shea Goru to Chatru Trek & Chandratal Base

Trek alongside the sparkling Chandra River towards Chatru. Transfer into a local vehicle and drive to set up camp close to the majestic Chandratal Lake.
