Paragliding in Kullu at Dobhi
Experience Paragliding in Dobhi
Soar above the Beas Valley with an experienced tandem pilot.
About the Activity
Take to the skies above the beautiful Kullu Valley with a tandem paragliding flight from Dobhi. Located between Kullu and Manali, Dobhi is a popular paragliding destination offering spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape and the Beas Valley.
You don’t need previous flying experience. Your tandem flight is operated with a trained pilot who manages the paraglider while you enjoy the views and the sensation of flying.
Before take-off, the pilot provides instructions about launch, seating position and landing. Safety equipment is checked before the flight begins.
The Dobhi Flying Experience
After reaching the take-off area, you will be briefed by your pilot. Once the conditions are suitable, a short running take-off gets the paraglider airborne. From there, enjoy panoramic views of the Kullu Valley, surrounding mountains and the Beas River.

Dobhi flight planning: reporting, transfers and waiting time
Get the correct meeting point
Confirm the Dobhi reporting pin and the team receiving you. Ask whether the transfer uphill is included or arranged separately and where you will meet your driver after landing. A hotel pickup should not be assumed unless your confirmation includes it.
Set a realistic activity window
Keep time for the transfer, briefing, equipment checks and a suitable launch window. The advertised flight minutes describe only one part of the visit. Avoid placing the flight immediately before a bus or other fixed onward departure.
Confirm individual arrangements
Share the party size and ask about participation requirements before paying. Couples and friends should clarify how flights will be sequenced and where non-flying companions may wait. Ask separately about video, delivery of footage and the weather-cancellation terms for the selected booking.
Compare booking options and confirm the details for your date.
