Adventure Activity Consent & Liability Waiver

Adventure in Himalaya (www.adventureinhimalaya.in)

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

By booking and participating in any adventure activity offered through Adventure in Himalaya, you acknowledge that such activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Physical injury or accidents
  • Slips, falls, or equipment failure
  • Weather-related hazards
  • Altitude sickness (in high-altitude regions)
  • Natural terrain risks (rocks, rivers, forests, etc.)

You voluntarily choose to participate in these activities with full knowledge of these risks.

2. Fitness & Medical Responsibility

You confirm that:

  • You are physically and mentally fit to participate in the selected activity
  • You do not have any medical condition that may put you or others at risk
  • You will inform the organizer/vendor of any health issues in advance

Adventure in Himalaya and its vendors are not responsible for undisclosed medical conditions.

3. Compliance with Safety Instructions

You agree to:

  • Follow all instructions given by guides/vendors
  • Use safety equipment provided
  • Avoid any reckless or unsafe behavior

Failure to comply may result in termination of participation without refund.

4. Vendor Responsibility

  • Activities are conducted by independent vendors/guides
  • While we partner with verified providers, Adventure in Himalaya acts as a booking platform

We are not directly responsible for:

  • Operational delays
  • On-ground incidents
  • Vendor-specific decisions

However, we will assist in coordination and support wherever possible.

5. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that:

  • Adventure in Himalaya, its team, and its partners shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or accident arising from participation in activities
  • You participate at your own risk

6. Emergency Situations

In case of emergency:

  • You authorize guides/vendors to arrange basic first aid or emergency response
  • Any medical expenses incurred will be borne by the participant

7. Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage.

8. Consent Declaration

By booking an activity, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood this waiver
  • You accept all risks associated with adventure activities
  • You agree to comply with all safety and operational guidelines
