Student tours are a chance to explore new places, build friendships and learn through shared experiences. Join Adventure in Himalaya for a 3-night, 4-day student tour from Delhi to Manali with return Volvo travel, camping, meals, sightseeing, camp activities, a trek, rafting and a DJ night.

The proposed programme brings together Manali, a Solang Valley excursion with snow viewing when available, and a visit to Manikaran. An Aut Tunnel passage can form part of the road journey, subject to the selected vehicle route.

Three nights are spent at camp. Depart Delhi the evening before Day 1 and reach Delhi the morning after Day 4; both overnight Volvo journeys are additional travel nights.

Student Tours with Adventure and Outdoor Learning

Designed for school and college group enquiries, this Manali programme combines outdoor activities with opportunities to observe local culture, practise teamwork and travel responsibly. We adapt the final itinerary to the students’ age group, available dates and the institution’s requirements.

Camping & Group Activities

Stay together at camp and take part in icebreakers, team games and shared challenges. Tent allocation and facilities are confirmed before booking.

Mountains & Sightseeing

Explore Manali, visit Solang Valley and include Manikaran in your itinerary. Snow viewing depends on conditions and accessible locations.

Trekking & Rafting

Join an age-appropriate guided trek and a rafting session for eligible participants, with routes confirmed in your proposal.

Food & DJ Night

Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner during the four-day programme, plus one DJ night at camp with agreed timings.

3-Night / 4-Day Student Tour Itinerary

This is a proposed schedule. The final plan depends on the campsite, group size, activity timings and confirmed Volvo boarding points.

Departure Evening: Delhi to Manali

Meet at the confirmed Delhi boarding point and board the overnight Volvo. Complete the headcount and travel briefing before departure. Where the selected road alignment includes Aut Tunnel, it is a drive-through part of the journey, not a sightseeing stop.

Overnight: Volvo. Aut Tunnel is different from Atal Tunnel; an Atal Tunnel excursion is not included in this programme.

Day 1: Camp Arrival, Manali Walk & Team Games

Arrive in Manali, transfer to camp and have breakfast. Settle in when tents are ready, rest after the journey and attend the camp orientation. After lunch, enjoy a short Manali sightseeing walk or orientation visit according to arrival time. Return for team games, introductions and dinner.

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Camp night 1.

Day 2: Solang Valley, Snow Viewing & DJ Night

After breakfast, visit Solang Valley for mountain sightseeing. If suitable snow is present at an accessible location within the agreed circuit, include time for supervised snow play. Lunch is arranged around the excursion. Return to camp for group activities, dinner and a DJ night.

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Camp night 2. Snow is not guaranteed. Ropeway rides, skiing, snow clothing hire and additional vehicles are not included unless quoted.

Day 3: Guided Trek & Kullu Rafting

Begin with breakfast and a short guided trek selected for the group. Use the walk for nature observation and teamwork tasks. After lunch, travel to the confirmed rafting point for a briefing and a rafting session for eligible students. Return to camp for dinner and a group reflection.

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Camp night 3. This day uses a short trek, not a full-day trek. The operator must confirm that walking, rafting and transfers fit within daylight and operating hours.

Day 4: Manikaran Visit & Return Volvo

After breakfast, check out and leave for Manikaran. Visit Manikaran Sahib and explore the agreed local stops while following site etiquette. Lunch is arranged during the excursion. Continue to the confirmed return boarding point, with dinner before boarding or as a packed meal.

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight: Volvo. The return service and boarding point must be selected to accommodate the Manikaran excursion and transfer time.

Return Morning: Arrival in Delhi

Arrive at the confirmed Delhi drop point. The group trip concludes after the final headcount and agreed handover arrangements.

Snow and activity planning: snow viewing and rafting are both subject to conditions and may not be available together on every date. Your written proposal will confirm the operating activities, alternatives and terms before booking.

Student Tours: Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Volvo nights included in the three nights?

No. This programme includes three nights at camp plus two overnight Volvo journeys. The four programme days begin on arrival in Manali.

Will students definitely see snow?

No. Snow viewing depends on the travel date, conditions and road access. Solang Valley sightseeing remains part of the proposed circuit, with any alternative agreed before travel.

Does the tour include Aut Tunnel or Atal Tunnel?

Aut Tunnel refers to a possible drive-through on the road journey, depending on the selected alignment. Atal Tunnel is a separate excursion and is not included here.

Is the trek a full-day trek?

No. This four-day itinerary includes a short guided trek so that rafting and Manikaran can also fit into the programme. A full-day trek requires a revised schedule or an additional day.

Can younger students join the rafting session?

Participation depends on the operator’s age and suitability requirements. Share the students’ ages before booking so eligibility and non-participant arrangements can be confirmed.

Can the programme be customised?

Yes. Tell us your institution’s priorities and available travel days. We can prepare a revised proposal around the activities and learning experiences you prefer.
